How to root Motorola Moto G 2014(second generation) on android lollipop

Motorola has started rolling lollipop update to Moto g second generation device.If you have not received the update then head on tothe guide how to update  Moto G 2014 to lollipop.
If you are running android lollipop on your Motorola moto g second generation  then you must be seaching how to root  the  phone.If you are unable to root Moto g 2014 on android lollipop then this guide is for you.

Prerequisites:

1.Install Motorola device drivers.
2.Install Fastboot on computer.
3.Backup all your data(images ,videos, contacts, apps etc)  just incase if anything goes wrong you can still have your data with you.

There are basically two methods to root your Moto g 2014.

Method 1: Using Cf auto root 

1.Download these files according your device model
   Moto G XT1063:Download
   Moto G XT1068:Download
   Moto G XT1063 titalretde:Download
2.Extract the zip file on desktop for easy access.check if you have these files after extracting

3.Connect the phone to computer in fastboot mode.If you have installed fastboot you can go to fastboot mode by typing the command  Fastboot reboot bootloader.

4.Click on the root-windows and follow the options carefully.
cf auto root fastboot

5.If you are experiencing bootloop after the process do a factory reset by accessing recovery.
6.if you don't find supersu in the apps then download superuser from playstore.

Method 2:Using traditional method

If you have unlocked bootloader and have a custom recovery installed then
1.Download super su latest version from here.
2.flash it in the recovery. and then reboot
