Enable Whatsapp calling Feature for Both Rooted and non rooted users

Whatsapp messenger is a cross platform app which enables you to share messages ,images and video between devices which installed whatsapp.It is available for almost all platforms like android,ios,blackberry,windows and symbian(Nokia's oldest platform).This app essentially works on a phone  number.So if you have a smartphone  with working data plan you can use whatspp.As of now more than 700 million active users are there in whatsapp database and the number is increasing day by day.
With the recent update whatsapp introduce calling feature but this feature is available only for invited users.Soon whatsapp will make the feature available to all other users.IF you are hurry to use this feature then read the guide enable  whatsapp calling feature for both rooted and non rooted users.

Enable whatsapp call feature without rooting:

If you done have any root access then follow the below procedure.
1.Download the latest whatsapp from whatsapp.com 
2.Go to app setting on your device.
3.Clear the existing whatsapp data and cache.
4.Uninstall it.
5.Install the latest version from the website.
6.activate it with your phone number.
7.Request a friend who has the this feature enabled.
Since its a invitation method you have to get invitation from your friend with this feature already enabled.

Enable whatsapp call feature if you are rooted:

If  your device has root access then follow the below procedure to get call feature enabled.
1.Download the latest whatsapp from their official website.
2.Open setting on your device.
3.Navigate to app settings and clear data and cache of existing whatsapp.
4.Uninstall the existing whatsapp.
5.Install the latest version.
6.Download root explorer or es file manager from playstore.
7.Run root manager with root permissions.If you have es file explorer then swipe from the extreme left on the screen.Click on tools.You will root explorer is "off".enable root explorer and grant super user permissions.
8.Now enter root off your device storage(or "/device") and search for folder "data".Click on it and again search for folder "data" in it.Now you will notice all folders starting with "com.appname".Search for "com.whatsapp" and open it.
9.Now You will find a folder named "shared prefs".open it
10.You will find 4 .xml files.Conck on "com.whatsapp_prefer" and open it as text editor .
11.add these code between <map> and</map>.

<string name="notify_ringtone">content://settings/system/notification_sound</string>
<string name="call_allowed">all</string>
12.Save it and exit.
13.Now Reboot your phone and open whatsapp .
If you still cant be able to see whatsapp call feature enabled.Ask a friend who already has a call feature to put a call to you and see if the feature is activated.

Conclusion:

By following the above procedure you will be able to activate voice call feature. Activation of this feature depends on if the "invitation server is active or not".You may be able to use this feature only if the invitation server is back online again.
