How to install/flash Twrp on motorola moto x 2013(ghost)

Motorola moto x is  the first device from the Motorola after the google acquisition.Though its a flagship device it doe snot offer any high end specification like other flagship devices.Motorola aimed this device to those consumers how love to customise their device and and does not bother about specifications. The device features touch less controls. You can communicate to the device with just voice gesutures without even touching the device. The operating system is almost close to stock android with some features like active display and twist the device to launch the camera.
Since the device lacks lots of software features you might consider rooting the device to install custom roms. But custom roms require a recovery to flash the rom. There are three recoveries available for moto x like clockworkmod, tweam win project recovery (in short twrp )and philz recovery. If you are not able to find Twrp recovery for your device then you are on right place. In this post we teach you how to install/flash twrp recovery for Motorola moto x 2013 ghost.

Install twrp recovery for Motorola moto x 2013(Ghost):

Twrp stands for Team Win Recovery project. This a touch based recovery with beautiful interface and with some awesome themes. This is only recovery for which themes are available.Benefit of using twrp over Clock work mod is the advance restore option where you can restore individual portions of the complete android rom backup.Suppose you have installed a custom kernel and got the device in boot loop instead of restoring whole rom you can actually restore only boot or kernel from the complete android backup.
Multi rom or Dual boot is only possible with twrp recovery. You can actually boot 2  or more roms simultaneously only with modded twrp but the problem is the rom developers should add an extra feature to the kernel so the rom can dual boot with other custom roms.Motorola moto x codename  ghost is officially supported by the Twrp so you dont need to wait for developers to port the recovery .
If you take loot at the features of the Twrp 2.8 it include full support for selinux 4.3+.You can encrypt backup too.Usb on the go support is also added. You can now install roms, kernels, gapps or any other mods from pendrive using twrp recovery.
